The Parish Council are aware of speculative conversations regarding the land behind Central Street in Holmewood.

To date, no planning application has been received by North East Derbyshire District Council in relation to this land and therefore, there is nothing else for us to comment on at this time.

We are also aware of inspection works that have taken place on the land by the owner and this has been reported to NEDDC and is being dealt with by them.

There have been some comments regarding the land to the rear of the Pavilion (Cricket & football pitches) being included in any development. Please note, this land is owned by Derbyshire County Council and leased by the Parish Council and will not be subject to any development.
