DERBYSHIRE LIBRARY SERVICE
Derbyshire library service has two mobile libraries, based at Buxton and Long Eaton, serving around 150 communities across the county. These communities are visited once every four weeks and the mobile libraries offer a range of services for everyone including fiction and non-fiction books for adults and children, large print books, books on tape and books on CD as well as a selection of local studies books and information.
The mobile libraries have a lift for wheelchair users and people with mobility problems.
The library service would like to ask you to display the attached mobile timetable for 8 October to 4 January for the Northern Routes and 22 October to 18 January for the Southern Routes within your Parish buildings and at other local community venues, if possible, to promote and encourage use of the service. Updated timetables will continue to be emailed to you every three months as they are produced. The Southern and Northern Mobile Library dates start at different dates because the Southern Mobile Library was off the road for 2 weeks in the previous update. As you will see the Mobiles will be off the road through Christmas week and then the dates start again on Wednesday 2 January 2019. The Tuesday 1 January 2019 service will not receive a visit until Tuesday 29 January 2019 to take into account New Year's day bank holiday. This will affect the following communities -
